soon before it fills up! Country Park is located at 3902 Nathaniel Greene Drive
in Greensboro. Entrances to the park are located on the north side of Pisgah
Church Road, just east of Battleground Avenue. The 4 mile run at Country Park
will include many twist and turns through a rolling single track course.

The Hoppin' Fun Superhero Run
An event for the entire family. 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run (kid's 12 and
under). Enjoy the race and take in the Grasshoppers baseball game
afterwards. Always wanted to run through town and pretend you are a superhero?
...now is your chance! This race will also features the Best Superhero Costume
Contest for adults and kids! Time: 4:45 – 1 mi. Fun Run, 5:00 – 5k
starts. Race Entry Includes A great race, post race food, t-shirt, Hoppers
game tickets and $5 in hopper bucks!
Triad Triathlon at Northeast Park
Distances: 300 Meter Swim, 10 Mile Bike, 5k Run. The Triad Triathlon at
Northeast Park is the perfect distance for a beginner. The course offers enough
of a challenge for the more advanced participant as well. The swim will be
in the new Northeast Park aquatic Center. The bike will be on the rolling hills
of northeast Guilford County. The run will be a 5k trail run all within
Northeast Park. You'll love the bike course, there are only 4 right hand turns.
The course has very little traffic and a couple of good hills. Bring the
family and spend the entire day at the newest park in Guilford County. The pool
will open at noon for the entire family to spend the day at the pool. Other
amenities of the park include: Picnic Shelters, Playgrounds, Hiking, Biking,
& Equestrian Trails.
